'IF WE FIGHT THEM HERE WE DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT THEM THERE"

In fund raising letters, from Republican Senators justifying their votes against gun regulation, they say we should be fighting the terrorists instead of trying to take away rights from the American people.

Since the terrorists are operating here in the U.S., it would appear that  now what we are supposed to do is to fight them here, where weapons are readily available, so we don't have to pay shipping costs.

  1. What that really means is that gun owners are simply trying to legally justify the killings that they are already committing ... much the same practice as some police departments are already employing. It's their way of removing the stigma associated with the more than 30,000 guns deaths per year in the United States. Even suicides would then be viewed as self-removal of a future threat.

  2. LOL! "Self-removal of a future threat!" You're outdoing yourself, Greg! Though the set-up was perfect.
