OLD WHINE IN NEW BATTLES

Despite having a Supreme Court with a solid majority of Justices nominated by Republican Presidents, Trump is complaining of unfairness because, as a body, they don't do what he wants, ignoring the fact that he is, after all, the President.   He has started to do battle with yet another branch of our government, for treating him, unjustly.  

THE NEW MAIN STREET OF THE DEEP STATE

Now that share prices are dropping,  traders have little doubt that  the Dow, Jones Averages will be declared "Fake News" and  that Wall Street will  become the new Main Street of  .the Deep State.

CITIZENS UNITED

I suspect that if Bloomberg actually succeeds in winning the Presidency, Republicans will join with Democrats in clamoring for an amendment to the Constitution to overturn Citizens United, or at least allow unlimited contributions only to the Republican Party.

PELOSI'S UNWARRANTED HOSTILITY

Considering where his hand probably had been, Donald Trump. in a kind and gallant gesture, refused to shake Nancy Pelosi's hand at his State of the Union speech.  Pelosi thereupon, rudely and in an unwarranted fashion,  tore up Trump's speech,  Pelosi met Trump's kindness and consideration with hostility. 

BIG DEAL!

Big deal!  So, Trump just changed ownership of Kansas City from Missouri to Kansas, so what? If Putin can change ownership of Crimea from Ukraine to Russia, what's to stop the most powerful man in the world from ceding Kansas City to Kansas?
