POSTHUMOUS NOBEL PRIZES?

If the Nobel Committee relents and awards Trump and Kim Jon-Un Nobel Peace Prizea for their Hanoi meeting, will they feel compelled to award a posthumous medal to Chamberlain and Hitler for their efforts at Munich?

FORTS, LIKE WALLS, ARE SOCIALISTIC.

Looking at American place names, referencing that it originated as a fort, it would appear that fortified places were necessary for early settlers to tame the wilderness. The fact that forts, however, are a communal effort, requiring the assistance of a community to build and man the fort, should temper our attidude towards them as they were decidedly unamerican.  In retrospect, the settlers should have left it to private investors to build and finance the forts even if meant having to sacrifice their lives to do so.

In a like manner the American financial section has taken the name of a communal wall built to keep out indigenous people.  The only proper way to construct such a wall is to allow private enterprise to build it and then collect fees for access.

THE NEXT EMERGENCY?

If Trump is successful in pulling off an emergency declaration scheme to get his way, will the next target be the Mueller investigation?

MOCKERY OF OUR LEGAL SYSTEM

Trump, in his speech announcing his invocation of a wall emergency, mocked the legal system of the U.S.A. with a sing-song recitation of the steps involved in our appellate system.

Trump defends himself against the charge by blaming the Republican Senate for having mocked our legal system by confirming incompetent Supreme Court judges 9n the first place. 

WHO IS THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE?

From what I have been reading, the liberal press has little sympathy towards farmers, who were mostly supporters of Trump. for a, reported, large number of bankruptcies brought on by Trump's trade policies.  I, on the other hand, am awed by their prescience.  Who is more knowledgeable than the Donald, to preside over bankruptcies, in the nation?

WHEN REPUGS WEAPONIZED THE HOUSE

In 2011, after winning control of the House of Represetatives in 2010, the Republican majority began on onslaught of  hearings against the  Democratic Administration of Barack Obama.  If the Repub majority didn't like the outcome of any given investigation, as in the Benghazi affair, why they  just ordered another one hoping for a different outcome, and yet another one, when their hopes did not materialize. No matter the number of investigations, the Obama Administration did not ever retaliate against the people for oversight investigations.

Skip forward to the Trump Administration, where 2 years in, Democrats took control of the House and even before investigations have even begun, Trump is threatening "war" if there are investigations.  Since it is the American people who suffer collateral damage, as occurred with a Government shutdown, when Trump did not have his way with the legislature. in effect it is the people who suffer if they dare to exercise a Constitutional right to have oversight of their Government, under the Trump Administration.

RATHER THAN RESIGNING

Gov. Northam, of Virginia, could easily halve the number of people, calling for his resignagtion, by just changing his party affiliation to Republican.  When it comes to 30 year old peccadillos, no Republican is expected to resign, as the Kavanaugh case clearly shows. 

SAY WHAT THEY WILL

Say what they will, but none of my pseudocon friends would have put up with or say "it was God's will"  if Obama had acted like Trump.
