PITCHER IN THE WRY- Too Clever by Half

During the debate on Trump's second impeachment, House Republicans bemoaned the fact that there were no hearings on the impeachment even though they themselves bore witness to the events. To compensate, it appears that the Republican leader of the Senate, Moscow Mitch will turn over the question of the trial to Democrats, who unlike Republicans at the first Trump impeachment, will allow for witnesses. The first one, I hope, will be John Bolton, who Republicans refused to allow to testify at that impeachment trial, to attest to the character of Trump.
