THE TREACHERY OF THE F.B.I.

The anger of Donald Trump, against the F.B.I., for the leaking of unclassified information, detrimental to the Trump Administration, may very well be justified.  When one considers how seamlessly the Trump Campaign worked with the F.B.I. to assure that Hillary would lose the election, they, justifiably felt that their request that the F.B.I. interfere in the Russian involvement matter, would be treated as confidential.  Is that any way to treat former allies?

    1. Courtesy of Aesop:

A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion says, "Because if I do, I will die too."

The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown, but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"

Replies the scorpion: "It's my nature ..."

      P. S. Didn't Caligula meet his end rather violently? His guards? ;-)

  2. Trump's reasoning is simple: you're either offering him praise and support, or you're resisting and opposing him.

I liked both the Caligula and Aesop's fable analogies. The first reminds me of the adulterous and incestuous relationships within the Trump family. The second reminds me of Trump's swamp and the infighting taking place (though denied). If you research the reign of Caligula even further, it becomes apparent that the rise in influence of the Catholic church actually played no small role in the downfall of this narcissistic ruler's Roman Empire, though you are correct that his guards stabbed him to death.

  3. You bastards erased my short commentary. You think that you will NOT be threatened by freedom of speech because you will suppress it. God Dam you. You will not deny us our constitutional rights.

    1. You have a Constitutional right to remain silent! Anything you say can and will be used against you. I am grateful that anyone reads my posts and I wouldn't even dream of removing any comments. Perhaps you have the wrong blog.

    2. Ummm.... Mr. Smith.... You have no "constitutional right" to go onto someone's personal blog and cuss, comment about their parentage, spread hate, or have anything remain that the owner of that blog does not want there. And as the owner said - no commentary was deleted. I wonder if someone forgot to take their meds.
