The first month of the Trump Administration has proven to be no honeymoon and a really rough patch.  It has, however, proven that Trump is a true conservative.  Facing a slew of problems, Trump has shown his conservative credentials by reaching out to find things on which to blame his present predicament.  He blames the Intelligence community, the media, and Hillary Clinton's campaign for all of his problems, deflecting any blame for his own actions and policies.  A true conservative.

  1. Honestly, that sounds more like the definition of a politician in general. Here are the thoughts of another concerning politics:

“Only one thing to it: a strong stomach. The guts to gladhand a man you're going to stab in the back; pledge allegiance to principles you stomp on every day; righteously denounce some despot in the press and sell him arms under the table. The talent to whip up the voters' worst passions while you seem to call on their highest instincts, and the sense to stay wrapped in the flag. That's politics: I'll take the simple life.” ~ Pierre Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais, Le Mariage de Figaro

  2. Bear in mind that during the course of all of the time between Pierre Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais' Le Mariage de Figaro and your assessment of Trump, the players have changed while the game remains essentially the same.
