WIELDING THE CUDGEL OF REVOLUTION TO ELICIT SOCIAL REFORMS

Whatever the outcome of the primary election process, Democrats should not fail to harness the energy of  Bernie Sanders, to wield the cudgel of revolution to elicit real social reforms in this country.

There are few spurs, to reforming our American system, as effective as educating ourselves to  prospects inherent in the alternative.

  1. Since the importance of younger voters cannot be over-emphasized as regards future governance, I believe that the Democrats should willingly embrace these younger voters and activists. There are many forms of revolution; better to use the peaceful means now, in order to avoid the violent means later.

    Others' thoughts on revolution:

“A revolution is coming – a revolution which will be peaceful if we are wise enough; compassionate if we care enough; successful if we are fortunate enough – but a revolution which is coming whether we will it or not. We can affect its character; we cannot alter its inevitability." ~ Robert F. Kennedy

“The notion that a radical is one who hates his country is naïve and usually idiotic. He is, more likely, one who likes his country more than the rest of us, and is thus more disturbed than the rest of us when he sees it debauched. He is not a bad citizen turning to crime; he is a good citizen driven to despair.” ~ H. L. Mencken

The resistance to the status quo is much of the reason for younger voters now taking action through protests and votes. Here's the peaceful way to support that effort against corruption of our government:
