Donald J. Trump has made a meritorious contribution to the use of genteel expressions in the English language. using the term "rounding the corner" instead of "dying", he has softened the hard edges of our pandemic. No longer do we have to use expressions like "dropping like flies" when referring to the pandemic when a simple "rounding the corner" will do in its stead.
