Anyone, who has read the very first post on this blog , knows that I am what is referred to as a "conspiracy theorist" when it comes to the 9/11 terrorist attack on the WTC Towers.
In the past I have always been skeptical about conspiracy theories and only came to be a believer, when it comes to 9/11, reluctantly and slowly. I am now convinced that the scenario was a plot by persons at the very top of our Government to implement a neo- conservative plan, formulated as early as 1992, by a group that found itself in positions of power, with the election of George W. Bush to the Presidency.
That group, headed by Cheney and Wolfowitz, even wrote that a Pearl Harbor like attack, on America, was needed to enable their scheme to be set in motion. That attack turned out too be the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center.
My suspicion that it was a conspiracy began with a report that Cheney had ordered the use of torture against captured Al Qaeda prisoners, who had knowledge of 9/11. The protocol being used was one developed by the North Vietnamese not to gather intelligence, but to elicit false confessions. Now having had the opportunity to work with government employees, I know that, contrary to public belief, they are, for the most part, very competent and capable people. They are not just a bunch of bunglers. There had to be a reason behind the use of an improper protocol. For me it meant just one thing. Somebody wanted plausible deniability in case embarrassing information about 9/11 was blurted out.
My suspicions grew deeper when I learned that the bin Laden family had sent most of their children to safe havens in Pakistan and the U.S., even though the school year had already started, just before the attack. Those women and children would never have come to the U.S. if they did not have complete assurances from our Government that they would be safe.
There are other strange coincidences that have come to my attention, but the latest one will suffice. George Tenet, the head of the C.I.A., has just come out, in a book, where he documents advice after advice to Bush/Cheney about an impending terror attack only to be ignored by both, with Bush offering a lame excuse as to why he was ignoring the warnings.
I want my grandchildren to mark my words that within 50 years there will be official acknowledgement of the treachery and treason that preceded our invasion of Iraq.
At some point conspiracy "theory" becomes conspiracy "fact". Just as true scientific "theory" is based on a multitude of data we scientifically analyze and confirm as facts, so, too, did you base this analysis of 9/11 on too many facts to ignore. I do not "believe in" "conspiracy theory" but I do acknowledge CONSPIRACY, as factual.
ReplyDeleteI believe that the American public was being misled also. I know too many facts that can't be explained or dismissed, such as:
ReplyDelete1. Norad was commanded to "stand down" after the planes were known to be hijacked.
2. Bombs went off in the lobby of the Towers that had no connection to the towers being struck by the planes.
3. Other WTC buildings that weren't struck by planes, collapsed for no reason that could be attributed to the two main towers.
4. Bombs went off in the towers before the planes even hit them.
5. Pentagon attack facts don't scientifically add up to support the claims made by the government.
6. The holes, nor debris field match what would be made by a commercial airliner at the Pentagon.
7. Why was the area of the Pentagon that was hit empty and under construction?
8. The "legend" of Flight 93 doesn't match up with the facts either.
9. The passports, photo IDs, and even papers identifying the alleged terrorist hijackers survived the Towers attack that burned all other evidence completely ... yet they were miraculously found undamaged.
10. Cell phone calls from the hijacked planes were faked and quite improbable under the circumstances.
I could go on for hours with conspiracy evidence, but what is more important to this discussion is the effects of the "attacks":
Two unfunded and undeclared wars for profit and gain, and the loss of freedoms and privacy, sacrificed in the name of national security. An entire region of the world became destabilized in the process, and hundreds of thousands of innocent lives were lost and continue to be lost.
In the name of security, the Patriot Act was passed, Gitmo and other black sites were formed, and human torture became acceptable, as did unwarranted surveillance. We've sacrificed rights and freedoms in the name of security, which hasn't made us more secure, rather less so in many cases. Bush and Cheney ushered in Orwell's 1984 on steroids.

I believe that I've made my positions on the Bush/Cheney administration, their effects on both our nation and the world, and also on the cover ups perpetrated on their behalf. Yet Republicans are still wasting time and money on an unproven cover up of Benghazi ... yeah, that makes sense ... to Republicans.
I have heard some of the items that you have listed but I have had no way of evaluating them. The other items that have contributed to my opinion that there was a conspiracy, by the neocons, were:
ReplyDelete1. The order for the American military to stand down at Tora Bora that allowed Osama bin Laden to escape,
2. The repeated, express, indifference of George W. Bush as to the capture of Osama,
3. The reported disappearance of $7.9 billion, IN CASH, at the Baghdad airport, which were to be used as payoffs (to whom?)
4. Subsequently learning of the fact that Osama was living, at a large complex, in the very shadow of a Pakistani military facility. There is no way that Oakistan would have so brazenly done that without the tacit approval of the U.S. Administration. They just forgot that Administrations, as well as policies, change in the U.S.
