INGRATITUDE
White Southerners have never forgotten that blacks turned against the Confederacy and fought on the Union side during the Civil War.
It is this lack of gratitude, for having been allowed to be slaves , that has rankled the hearts and minds of the sons of the Old South.
If the hatred and discrimination by whites continues unabated, there is the distinct possibility that as whites become the minority in America that blacks may feel obliged to return the favor. You reap what you sow.
