PRIVATIZING WAR IN AFGHANISTAN

The morning papers talk about the possibility of privatizing the war in Afghanistan.  I think it may have at least one advantage in that  the proponents of war there, can no longer claim that failure to provide additional funds means "failure to support our troops".  We can always provide sufficient funds for the contractor to fly his troops out and then wash our hands of a war that nobody other than the Contractor wants.

  1. OJALA! The problem is that we can't create national interests out of the activities of war lords when war lords are supposed to be serving national interests. The word tautology comes to my aging brain..Bloody f.....g immoral mess fits better!!!

  2. Bloody f——-g immoral mess is best! Now we’re mercenaries with no direct accountability. Not under our umbrella!!! This is a demented consideration. In a way, thank goodness that the consideration is out in the open so that we all are made aware of the insanity. Heavens only know what goes on behind closed doors!! Pure evil, indecency, and cruelty. https://youtu.be/I8P80A8vy9I from a period that knows the corrupted collective spirit.

  3. Alas, is this your subtle way of explaining that all wars are about men's privates.
