It is going on three years (or seems like it), that Donald is constantly kvetching about how Sessions has done him wrong by recusing himself from the Russian investigation and how he should be fired.
Since the dismissal of Sessions falls within his powers. we are left to wonder why Trump just doesn't fire the man and be done with him instead of his continuous kvetching about it. My guess is that Trump needs Sessions around to blame for Trump's monumental Fuck Up for having fired Comey in the first place thereby bringing on Special Counsel Mueller. Donald simply can't bear to accept blame for any of his actions.
Dear Mr. Historian: Please remind/educate us as to what put Al Capone in jail. Gotti family, Trump family ... same prosecutors?
ReplyDeleteI don't know if there is any equivalency between Capone and Trump but if the feds were putting the same heat on the mafia as they are currently doing on the Trump Corp., the mafia Don would be eliminated by now.
DeleteAh, but it’s a political speed with which we’re dealing ... and, the cowardly Republican congress, so fond of referencing the Founding Fathers, are ignoring George Mason on his successful persistence to include the impeachment clause in the Constitution. They’re not the people’s representatives ... they’re cherry pickers!
