GROUNDS FOR STAYING THE COURSE?

Some of the national leaders, who are caught up in the Panama Papers scandal, having opened up dummy corporations, in Panama, to receive funds derived from bribes and kickbacks, are refusing to resign on grounds that to do so would impugn the integrity of the office they hold.  Who knew?

  1. Hmmm? I'm still pondering how an office can hold integrity, when the holder of that office doesn't. Appearances of such? Many of those holders are still quivering from the possibility of their exposure in the DC Madam scandal. Panama will have to wait its turn. And how many times can integrity be impugned before said integrity is considered nonexistent?

  2. Greg, you have to remember the title of this blog. Please don't ponder how funneling bribes and kickbacks to offshore tax havens could possibly enhance the integrity of an office.
