After listening, for endless hours, to campaign rhetoric, I have little doubt that one day Homo Sapiens, on this planet, will be replaced by an intelligent species.
I supposed that it's entirely possible that intelligent life of a higher degree has been watching us for some time now. What's 5 or 10,000 years in regards to geologic time? Probably being far more civilized than we are, they may well be waiting for us to dispatch ourselves, so that they can send in the cleanup crews. Just give it time.
