GUILTY BEFORE THE CRIME
I cannot help but feel that parents, of children ,who bought their way into certain colleges, did so out of feelings of guilt for not having raised those children to be able to make it on their own. Not only did they compound the problems for the children but now for themselves as well.

We’re even shallow in the appreciation of an education. ‘Making it on their own?” They can’t define the value of an education. It’s just a status symbol? Brats ... the parents and, naturally, their kids.
