WHY NOT OPRAH?

Why not, indeed? Not only is Oprah more articulate than Trump, and has a superior vocabulary, is equally versed in foreign affairs, she, undoubtedly has more money than Trump, money which she earned from legitimate sources and does not have to hide her income tax returns.

About the only way, the Republican smear machine will be able to attack her is to claim that Oprah is overqualified for the position.

    1. Susanna, I saw you posted another comment, and I have no idea what happened to it. Here is the link you posted:

Maybe a comment automatically gets booted out if there is a link and no text? I don't know!

    2. Jeanie, I had also posted on “Once Again Misunderstanding Trump” ... sarcastically comparing the “stable” mind with the stable in “Charlotte’s Web.” Poof! Gone! Maybe Big Brother is watching! ;-) Oy!

BTW, I admire Oprah ... in many ways (talk about really self made) ... but, I’m not sure I support the overwhelming celebrity status as the big qualifier for governance. What about those who have studied, worked, and served in and for political/statesmanship involvement from the ground up? That is one of the arguments from the Princeton professor (whose name escapes me right now) appearing on “Morning Joe” ... the subject of my link. Another theme connected to the celebrity appeal is the fact that neither Party is addressing/adjusting to the shift of the times ... recognizing that, while there’s a need/appeal, a third party surgence is very difficult under the present structure. But ... time will tell.

Thanks for the assist, you fighter you!

  3. I FOUND them! They both got automagically flagged as "spam" and were in the spam section of the blog.... I don't have a clue as to why! But I have had them restored. (Of course, my dad is who posts everything, I just "moderate" - this is the first time I have done anything other than delete spammer comments (mostly under the post that has the word "massage" in the title....) And this spam filter never caught those! In fact, your 2 were the only things in it! Don't take it personally!

  4. “Don’t take it personally!”

Heavens, no offense taken!!! If anything, I was concerned that I had said something inappropriate ... especially when there’s seldom feedback. ;-)

Keep taking good care of yourself! : o)
