RAKs THE NEW PEJORATIVE

For many years now, Conservatives have enjoyed using the phrase "Tree huggers", as a pejorative to describe Liberals.  It is not till now that, courtesy of Donald Trump, Liberals can return the favor by calling conservatives, RAKs: "Russian Ash Kissers"

    The Russian Mountain Ash is certainly an acceptable tree for a Nature lover to kiss. Yes, there is a danger in getting splinters in one's lips just as a Liberals risk getting them in their arm pits, when hugging trees, but the benefits probably outweigh the dangers.

    In further defense of Russian Ash, it is my understanding that some top Conservatives think it's a tree that bestows good luck, somewhat like the Irish Blarney Stone. Some of fine Russian Ash specimens adorn Russian hotel rooms and Conservatives say the can bring Showers of Gold, and even freshly laundered gold is possible for the privileged few.
